More Vowel Phonemes is a phonics module that teaches students to decode and spell some of the more unusual graphemes that represent vowel sounds.

Overview

While the Vowel Phonemes module covers the most common spellings of the main vowel phonemes, there are many words – some of them quite frequent – that include more unusual spellings of vowel sounds. The More Vowel Phonemes module introduces students to many of these less-common vowel graphemes. Students learn to read and spell words that include these graphemes using engaging activities that are designed to promote learning of advanced vocabulary.
